Principal's Message

March has certainly entered 2010 with a lion’s roar and several inches of snow. Those of you who consistently read my messages know that I am not complaining. No amount of snow fall, however, could conceal all the events, activities and goings-on March brings.

We are highlighting the music department this month at Morning Program. Ms Bixby will be performing a duet with one of her students on the 17th. Mr. McGarvey will warm up his chorus for its show this month at our March 24th program and Ms Bixby is back on the 31st for a pre-pops concert! The intermediate school is truly alive this March with the sound of music. There is a lot more to sing about too!

Progress reports will be going home on the 12th. March 8th-12th is Spirit Week. Come watch me dribble like a baby during the March Madness Faculty Basketball game also on the 12th. As if all this were not enough, do not forget there is no school for students on the 19th and the drama club will be presenting four nights of the musical Annie. If you have never seen Mrs. Spraker’s students put on a show then you should mark a day on your calendar as it promises to be fun for the whole family. Finally, as I mentioned earlier, our Pops Concert is this month too. I will see you at the high school auditorium on March 31st at 7pm. I cannot wait to see our students perform again.

As always, if you have any questions about any of the great things happening this month and beyond, you can call the intermediate school office at 954-2750.

Thank You, Mr. Casey
