Individual Student Reports for the 2010 ELA and math assessments will be sent home at the end of September or the beginning of October depending on when they arrive from the New York State Education Department.

The After School Program will continue to be held at The Learning Community for the upcoming school year. Please contact the office for information.
Important Dates

September 8 is Supply Drop-Off for all students from 1-2pm. Parents and students of the intermediate school are invited to stop in to drop of their supplies so they have less to worry about when school starts the following day. Please note this is not a parent-teacher conference time and teachers have a school-business meeting at 2pm.

Each year at this time elementary principals begin to receive parent requests concerning their child’s teacher assignment for the next school year. Many factors must be considered as we work through this complicated process.

Attention BPIS Students & Families

- Traffic during student drop-off and pick-up times is heavy. Our parking lot is full of students, parents and staff members on a daily basis. Please be cautious and drive slowly. If you need to leave your car to come in the office, please use the 15 minute parking spaces.
- If school is delayed on a Wednesday, Morning Program will be cancelled.
- Sunrise does take place when school has been delayed, the time shifts according to the delay. No breakfast will be provided for Sunrise students in the event of a weather delay.
